So my boss came across this error when he was trying to use the Scan to Email option.  When he would hit the green button, he told me that it would not feed the paper and spit out a copy limit error, unfortuantely he did not note or there wasn't any error code on the message.  It happened intermitently as when I tried it, it worked flawlessly.  So I don't know what it said exactly but what could potentially cause some issues?

 

I printed the Error History Report and it doesn't show anything for this day.

 

Is there an error log on the site for the printer or just on the printer itself?

I can fax from my pc through the driver fine but no confirmation sheet prints. Is there a way to make a confirmation sheet print for LAN Fax's?

Dear All,

I have  XEROX WorkCentre 5745 that i tried to configure serveral times to set scan destination to the server..

I still not get it work and too tired...

 

This printer just working find with printer network..but only scanning path that alway annoy me so much..

Please let me know how to configure on that model..

Hi everyone,

i am trying to setup scanning to a folder on a network share. I know i am missing one thing or i just have not done it in the correct order. i keep getting the error failed login or bad setup. i know the username and password are correct but not sure what i am missing in the setup.

i setup a file repository and then a setup a new scan template.

the first screenshot shows the file repository setup, second shows the template.

 

the share that i am wanting to scan to is \\myfileserver.domainname.com\SomeName\Scans\CompanyInfo

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am trying to get this setup tonight. i fly out from this location tomorrow and need to have this fixed tonight!

My company has just migrated over to Office 365 and I can't get the scan to email to work. I have used smpt.office365.com with ports 587 and 25. I have also tried fioranotile-com.mail.protection.outlook.com with ports 587 and 25. when I click on the smptn config test, it just times out. I have 3 units and tried everything on all 3 with no luck. Help !!!!

Hello,

I need help with our xerox workcentre 4250 

When copying an 8.5 x 11 documents using the flatbed/glass the document comes out half printed on paper

Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it will print one half copied sheet & if you hit print again it  will be fine & sometimes it will only print half copird sheets.

We have used this printer for awhile with no issues. this just started a couple of weeks ago. 

I have reset the printer several times, sometimes it helps , sometimes it doesn't

Any suggestions?

Hello,

we have recently purchased a WorkCentre 6605DN with latest firmware installed (201407180658), the printer function works properly but we have issue with the scan to email function.

 

We set the correct parameters like "from" email address, "SMTP Server", "SMTP Port" and authentication but the function doesn't semms to work.

 

We checked the logs of our smtp server and the sessions made by the printer are totally unreadable, with unrecognized command and strange characters:

First time user of DM 152.  When I scan a basic white page document with text the PDF image has gray tint on the white area of the original scanned document.  When the pdf is printed, the printer imitates this gray tint for the entire page.  Using extra toner and ink.

 

How do I get white to scan white, not tinted ?

I'm trying to export an adress book from a Xerox Workcentre 7120 to a Xerox Workcentre 7220, I have no idea what the field MFUSETLS (from the 7120) corresponds to?

It is for a SMB, the value is 0.

Trying to setup fax forwarding to a network file folder. I don't see the menu choice on the machine console or web server interface.

My config shows embedded fax is "enabled".

 

Image of config below (hopefully it is readable). Not sure if I need to enable something else, update system firmware (tried with online downloads but says not compatible with device), or if this feature is even possible with my system.

Weird situation on our 6605N that I've never encountered before.  When the lady at the front desk scans from time to time, the scan doesn't show up in the folder.  She can sometimes scan in two documents and neither will show up.  A short time later, she'll go scan another and all of the missing documents, including the one just scanned, will show up at the same time.  The behavior started about 10 days ago.  None of the drivers or firmware have changed.  Persmissions on the network share haven't changed.

Any ideas on what it could be?

We have a file stucture of project directories on our server.. Is it possible for a user to scan directly into one of the project directories with 7225?  There are 200-300 sub-directories under the main project docs folder...  End goal is for the user to have to do minimal moving of the scanned pdf's on our server..  Our local dealer is saying that this is possible, but after reading the "System Damin" guide I'm not convinced.. Any comments from the Xerox Pro cummunity would be appreciated.. Thanks!

Hello,

 

we have a problem with our WorkCentre 3615 and the Scan2Mail function.

 

If someone is scanning more than one page then the WorkCentre sents multiple mails like:

Scan Data from [foo][1]

Scan Data from [foo][2]

Scan Data from [foo][3]

Scan Data from [foo][4]

 

Is it possible to combine them to one PDF?

Hi guys,

 

I am having great difficulty trying to figure out how to properly setup smb networking scanning on this printer.

 

Here are my current settings:

 

 

 

I have tried using the IP address and have no luck as well.  The real path from the network is \\memsredfile02\healthed\scantofolder

 

Adminsupport does have NTFS permissions to those folders. Depending on what I try it the printer with either say invalid file name or file access denied.

We have several Workcentre 7855's that will not scan to email addresses with an apostrophe e.g. "o'neill".

Software version 071.040.034.06000 works.

Software version 072.040.104.14800  has the error.

Software version 072.010.124.23405 has the  error.

 

The customer needs the fixes in the later versions of Software so downgrading them to 06000 isn't an option.

 

 

 

Any suggestions?
