Cant Fax from Mac
Previously I was able to PRINT TO FAX
In the printer dialogue, there used to be an option to enter a Fax number. It seems to have disappeard, Not sure when, cause I dont fax often.

Setting up scanning to desktop and email
Hello
I have recently purchased the Xerox 6515 and so far have connected it to wifi. I am able to print and scan from my IMAC but I am really struggling to get it to scan to email or scan to a folder on my desktop. I have followed all of the guidance but still get an error code 017-714. I cannot find what code this is.
Hopeing someone could please give me instructions to rectiify this.

Scanning from a Xerox 6515 to a Mac
I have MacOS Catalina (10.15.4), and I installed the drivers from here.
I have the printer connected to the same wireless network as the mac, and I'm able to print with no problems.
However, when I try to scan (e.g, using Image Capture) I get an error message: "No connection could be established with the selected device. Please check your device IP configuration or try again with another device."
Is there something else I need to install/configure in order to be able to scan from my Mac?

Scan to folder; Suddenly stopped working
I've set these things up any number of times and still don't feel that there are clear instructions in a WINDOWS networking context. Close perhaps but when it doesn't work - then probably not. Just a bit too magical for me!
About once a year I get one that just doesn't cooperate.
Scan folder is set up as a separate share.
Have followed all the suggestions.
What are the expectations on the workstation side other than the shared folder?

Double scan jobs happening.
This printer is sending two scan image files to the one destination workstation.
Even when the file transfer fails, we get two failures.
How to fix this?

Scanning area ?
How do you configure the scanning area on a 6515?
This is the workflow I'm trying:
1. Launch the Windows 10 Scan app
2. Select Xerox WIA - WorkCentre 6515
3. Source: Flatbed
4. File type: JPEG
5. Color mode: Color
6. Resolution (DPI): 300
7. Select folder to save scan to
8. Click Preview
9. Drag handles round area I wish to scan
10. Click Scan.
Issue is when I click preview the scanner only scans to top right of the scan area, as if its only scanning a 6x4 photo. Can't find any setting anywhere that seems to change this behavior in the Scan app. If I use the Xerox scan utility it scans the whole page, but doesn't let me preview/select/scan.
This process worked fine using my old Samsung scanner.
Am I missing some default settings somewhere?

Email settings
I am trying to set up my spanking new 6180MFP to scan to email. I've tried my go daddy and gmail smtp pop settings creating new emails for the printer within each. In each case the CenterWare cannot connect.
I've allowed my AT&T router passthrough for the printer.

Batch Scanning on the Xerox D125
Was wondering how I can scan a batch of documents and have them all go into my scan folder
Now when I scan each scan set goes into a sub folder and I have to open each one up and merge them all together
On the 4112 it works fine ,all documents go into the scan folder as a group

When using my "Scan to Desktop app I recive the notification that "No Scan Profiles are Avaialble". Can someone help me create a scan profile so I can begin to operate my scanner please. Thank you.

NetApp SMB share workflow scanning login/credentials error
I am trying to setup workflow scanning on a C8070 to a NetApp SMB share. I updated the firmware with the latest SPAR. I have verified the settings - login name and password. When I try a destination test It fails and I get the login/credentials error. I can scan from a VersaLink B405 with the same settings and it scans just fine.

Copier featured needs to be embedded
"Destination test" for Address book scan to destination option no longer showing up after upgrading the firmware to : 073.010.075.34540. This used be a usefull option to verify scan destination. How can we get them back on next softwarer relase.?

Brand new machine makes clicking noise when printing/copying?
Hello,
Like the title. Our brand new Altalink C8030 makes clicking noises when printing/copying. I've taken out the different trays but the sound remains. Sounds like it's from within the printer.
I've re-installed the waste catridge, toner and drums.
Any help is appreciated

scan to email with gmail
Hi
Just got my B215 Printer
I setup IP to the printer and been able to access it via the web browser
I been able to print to the printer via regula print and via the web page
I want to configure the smtp server, using gmail to enable the option to scan to email
After setup and add email address to the address book, when i press email, select the destination email and press send i got error saying
"send mail server (SMTP) configuration error"
I set the Values shown on the attached screen shot

SMTP TLS issues with Microsoft smtp.office365.com since a week
Hi, lots of customers are calling in, many versalinks / altalinks are not mailing anymore with the setup like
smtp.office365.com 587 , ttls if avaible (check on/off) auth enabled
"message failed to send"
if we setup mailprotection on port 25 , no issues
its related to TLS 1.2 i think
alreayd tried loading new SPAR firmwares on versalink/altalink, doesnt help
is this a know isse with microsoft in combination with xerox mfp smtp clients?

Looking to implement remote faxing via Xerox WorkCentre 7835
Hello there,
Is there documentation somewhere in regards to implementing remote faxing via the Xerox WorkCentre 7835? I know Windows Server has a Fax Server option but not sure if that's usable with the printer.
