I'm going through thousands of old photos and want to save the settings on the scanner to USB, jpg, 400x400, no correction... It is very time consuming to manually key in the setup each time I want to scan a few pictures.
How can I either change the defaults or create a named set of settings to use (for 4x6 or 5x7 photographs if possible)?

Is it possible to set the xerox workcentre 78xx 72xx CQ 93xx to send mail as HTML coded

We had the Konica Minolta mfp before and it was possible to select the coding of scan to mail to be set as text, rtf, or html. I cant find a way to change the format of the body of the mail when scanning to mail. It would be nice to be able to set logos and links into the body of the mail in HTML. Anyone have a clue how to fix it?

Network Scanning Hangs

We have a Xerox WorkCentre Pro 45
We started experiencing an issue with network scanning yesterday afternoon. We scan a document and the scan job just sits in the queue. When I look at the information on the scan job there is no destination listed. Our settings for the FTP file repository are correct. The FTP service on our server is working correctly as I can upload files using the WorkCentre's credentials using a standard command line FTP client.
However, I've noticed that the Template Pool is pointed to an external IP address 13.244.241.30 which seems to be in a block of IP addresses owned by Xerox. There seems to no longer be FTP service running at that IP address. I'm wodering if this is the cause of the issue.
Have the Xerox provided template FTP server moved or can the tempates be retrieved from another source and stored on our local FTP server?
Is there a way to manually regenerate the template files?

5335 MFP dashed lines when copying and printing.
We are getting some dashed horizontal lines on the top half of our pages when making copies and printing stuff. What could be causing it. When copying, it happens with both the ADF and the flatbed.

FTP on WorkCentre 3325
Recently been running into issues with our Xerox WorkCentre 3325's. FTP is working correctly to onsite server from multiple stores, but stores are only able to send 1 file (PDF) into the server. In the past we experienced multiple files sent, and would affix 000 onto each file after the first file. For example:
PDFFILE
PDFFILE(000)
PDFFILE(001)
There should be no reason a store wouldn't be able to FTP multiple files a day.
After this, multiple attempts fail until the subfolder is deleted. Once deleted, the printer recreates the subfolder and can create the PDF file again. Very frustrating.
Anyone have any ideas, or have had issues like this in the past? We have tried different FTP servers and have experienced the same result.

Xerox WorkCentr 7232 - Don't see the scan service
Hi forum members,
I've bought a Xerox WorkCentre 7232 with the underlying ideas that I can scan to e-mail.
This weekend i've configured the SMTP settings (tried via web and local machine).
I only have problems with finding the "scan to e-mail" service on the printer. Could someone please advise how to add this one?
I've already tried to Go to the Screen settings and check if the service is available but wihout any success.
I feel really disappointed If I bought the printer and can't scan to e-mail.
Things that I've tried:
1. Reset NVRAM (Factory defaults)
2. Go to protocols and enabled the Receive and Sent e-mail options.
Could someone help me out of fire..

Email Scan Failing "Job failed due to DNS server not available" on Phaser 3635MFP
We're having issues using the scan to email function. But the network printing works perfectly fine,
When I scan in a document to have it emailed from the Phaser 3535MFP we get an error message stating "Job failed due to DNS server not available".
We've tried multiple different SMTP servers to see if that was the issue, but Gmail, iCloud, and Cox.net all fail with the same error. I've scoured Google & the Xerox support forums, but haven't seen anyone with a similar problem.
Our internet service provider is Cox Communications in Arizona.

Workcentre 7835 Login Error & Not Responding To Scan To Network Destination After Mavericks Upgrade
We have a Workcentre 7835 that after the Mavericks Upgrade we had in the office for the server, has not properly allowed any scans when moved to the filepath set to actually complete successfully. We keep getting a "deleted job" and login error that only prints the error or config page, instead of call up the actual scan placed in the filepath. Any suggestions would be so much appreciated!!!

Scanning to Windows Server 2012 from a 7556
I've seen other posts on this forum about similar issues but I can't seem to resolve this one.
We have Windows Server 2012 setup as a file server and we have a 7556 that can scan to it. Everything works well but somedays it takes 20~ hours for a scan to finally show up on the server. I've followed this troubleshooting script but it did not resolve. We are using the IPv4 address instead of hostname, ports are open, newest SPAR has been loaded. I've talked to Service a few times about this but we never really get a resolution. If I reset the Server and the Machine then it'll work fine for about a week and then poof, back to 20~ hour processing times for 40 page scans. Service did stop in and did an ALTBOOT firmware upgrade to make sure it wasn't a corrupted upgrade but the issue still persists.
I've done a bit of research on the issue and the only thing I really haven't tired is forcing SMB 1.0 vs the 2.0/3.0 stack.
Any suggestions???

WorkCentre 4250 - Fax From PC Issues
Hi,
We are a Xerox re-seller and a small IT company with multiple service contract clients
One of them has a WorkCentre 4250 printer from which they send faxes from.
Client has been printing the document to be faxed then sending it via fax
Wondering if this printer has the ability to send faxes directly from the PC through the printer
I have noticed that other WorkCentres have a PC-Fax utility
Any help on this would be greatly appreiated.

DocuPrint CM225/228 scan to email with GMAIL

I've tried a few combination and i still can't get it to scan to email.
Here are my settings:
Machine's E-mail Address: stefanii.ng@gmail.com
SMTP Server Address: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Server Port Number: 465 (also tried 587, 25, 995)
E-mail Send Authentication: SMTP AUTH (AUTO)
Login Name: stefanii.ng@gmail.com
I'm not using my printer to receive mails so i left POP3 servers settings empty.

Work Flow Scanning setup
Leased a new 5855 about 6 months back. Scan to email works great, can't get Workflow scanning to go. Every attempt returns:
"Login Failure. Check user password and/or setups. The company we lease it from stopped by, but are clueless. They did confirm that we have the latest firmware and that the settings do seem correct. To summarize my settings:
File Repository settings:
Protocol: SMB
IP4 address: 192.168.0.10 (DC / File server)
Share: Shares (The highest level share)
File destination for template:
Protocol: SMB
IP4 address: 192.168.0.10 (DC / File server)
Share: Shares (The highest level share)
Document Path: Operations Shared Files\Driver Reports
Authentication in both locations is my AD account in the form of:
domain\user
And before anyone asks, yes, I do have rights to that folder and I can browse to that folder. Any help is greatly appreciated.

New Scan Template wc7855
I have setup "Scan to Home" using LDAP. This is the Default Template in "WorkFlow Scanning" and everything works. I would like to create one more template with the same setting/configuration of my "Scan to Home", but "SCAN/New Template" does not have the LDAP option just FTP,SMB...
Is this possible? Any suggestion?

Xerox WorkCentre 6027 setup with Windows 7/8 Fax and Scan
Let's start with I've read the manual and installed the latest available Xerox firmware, drivers and software stack.
Please read this support request, it comes from an experienced customer that owns many of your products.
We recently purchased a Xerox WorkCentre 6027. I was shocked to find the Xerox WorkCentre 6027 does NOT appear
as a fax machine to Windows 7/8. This means it does not integrate with Windows Fax & Scan!
The Xerox WorkCentre 6027 appears as a Laser printer, and as a scanner to Windows 7/8.
Xerox even provides a printer driver interface to allow faxing from any Windows application.
However, the Xerox WorkCentre does not appear as a fax unit to Windows 7/8.
This can only be because Xerox has not developed the software driver necessary to provide this function.
This is a gross omission of function and standard support by Xerox Software Development.
Did we miss something?
Should this work?
It's not in the manual and I've attempted to configure it.
Finally, we have noticed the Xerox WorkCentre 6027 does not appear to have an "answer after ring count" setting,
such as answer after the third ring.
Did I miss something in the settings?
I find this shocking, I've never seen a fax machine without this setting.
Perhaps, fax support was an after though for the Xerox WorkCentre 6027?
Or, Xerox Software Development is still working on these features.
Does Xerox plans to correct these omissions of standard features?
This is not our first Xerox purchase.
We purchase your products because of the quality, attention to detail and feature set offered.
The Xerox WorkCentre 6027 is a shocking departure from the norm.
A large number of Xerox WorkCentre 6027 are going back in the boxes unless these major omissions of standard features
are corrected.
