Start cannot be accepted at this time please try again later

We have 5 7970's all coming up with the same error "Start cannot be accepted at this time please try again later"

If we restart the device it starts working again but the fault re-occurs.

 

Any suggestions?

 

We have tried these versions of software,

Spar - 072.200.145.05000
Spar  - 072.200.134.32804
General release – 072.200.024.14107

 


9300 Processing and deleteing scanned job

Hi, We have a 9303, a couple of weeks ago our email was hacked and so our IT had to change passwords for our email system. Our email addresses have stayed the same but our scan to email functions now doesn't work. 9303 will scan documents say it's 'processing' then a few seconds later 'job deleted'. Our IT and staff have not changed any settings on the device. Everything else on the device works OK with no issues. Please can someone help with this scanning issue?! I've been trawling the net for a solution. :-( Thanks

Workcentre 7545 Workflow Scanning 2012 R2 not working

We recently rebuilt a machine from Windows 2003 to Windows 2012 R2.  Workflow scanning was working fine before on 2003 but now on 2012 R2 we get the job deleted and Login Failure.  We used the original share (xeroxscans), copied back same E: partition.  Gave the xeroxscans account Full Control on both Sharing and Security with rights down into the subfolders.  I upgraded the firmware on the 7545 to System Software Version 061.121.224.18803 and verified that SMB1, SMB2, SMB3 are both running on the server via PowrShell.  Tried changing to  port 445, and I've tried Reseting the Software on the the machine itself. Firewall is turned off.

I'm at a loss as to what else to try now.

7800S Default Template Document Naming

I have a ColorQube 8700S and am trying to set up scanning to a filename with variables. According to the documentation, setting the Document Name to DOC%D%T%ji should include the date, time, and job id. All I'm getting, though, is DOCXXX where XXX is a sequential number starting with 0 for each user. Is there a setting I'm missing to get it to apply this naming convention?

Solution to Xerox 6027 Scan to Email SMTP Setup

For all those who are completely frustrated on how to setup the "Scan to Email" feature for your Xerox 6027 ... I found a solution!!

After spending countless hours and Xerox support phone calls to unsucessfully get gmail or yahoo as my SMPT server, I found a method that works:

 

(1) Set up a free account with SMTP2GO SMTP2GO - Worldwide SMTP Service, you will need a working email address to verify your SMTP2GO account. I had to use SMTP2GO because Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail wouldn't work for me. SPTP2GO is free for 20 uses per day, they also have reasonable pricing for more heavier volume users. 
(2) Verify your SMTP2GO account and then login to SMTP2GO and take note of your SMTP Server and Port No given by your SMTP2GO account. For example, your SMTP2GO Login Email is "test@gmail.com" and password is "test123". SMTP Server is "smtpcorp.com" and SMTP Port is "2525".
(3) Then on SMTP2GO page, go to: Settings > More> Address Authentication and input the email address you want to send email from without authentication, say "test@mail.com".
(4) Go to your Xerox Centreware page: Properties>Protocols>Email Server and enter the settings as below
(5) Machine's email address : test@mail.com
(6) SMTP Server Address :207.58.147.66 (according to the SMTP2GO site : Some devices (fax machines etc.) may benefit from using the IP address of your SMTP server instead of its name (i.e. 207.58.147.66 if your SMTP server is smtpcorp.com, or 207.58.142.213 if your SMTP server is smtp2go.com), in my case, the IP address worked and not the name)
(7) SMTP Port No: 2525 
(8) Email Send Authentication : *SMTP AUTH (Login)
(9) Login Name : test@gmail.com (this is your SMTP2GO User Email Login)
(10) Password : test123 (this is your SMTP2GO User Password)
(11) Re-enter Password : test 123
(12) Leave POP3 Server Address BLANK
(13) POP3 Server Port No: 995 
(14) Leave POP3 Login Name BLANK
(15) Enter POP3 Password : test123 (this is your SMTP2GO User Password)
(16) Re-enter POP3 Password : test123
(17) Click APPLY

I hope this works for you as well as it did for me ... So happy I was able to find a solution!!

I have a new WorkCentre 3325 at home. Since the machine shares the home phone line, I do not want to enable auto fax receive. How do I get the machine to receive a fax when I know that the incloming call is indeed a fax?

 

Xerox WorkCentre 7845 Scan to Network Folder/ Email

Hi

 

Model Xerox WorkCentre 7845

Firmware:2014 April 23 — 14:10:25 Version: 072.040.004.09100

 

We have a newly installed copier/scanner. At first scan to network folder and email was working perfectly and really quickly. Now scanning to network folder is hit and miss. I've scanned two set of B+W paper today (~100 pages) and both are now stuck in the jobs queue with status of "formatting" and "waiting to transfer" and never arrived to our network scans folder.

 

Also I am getting disk overwrite failed messages (2 in the last week) which requests "perfrom immediate disk overwrite"

 

All help appreciated.

workcentre M24 error sending email

I have a xerox Workcentre M24 but can't send scans to an email account.

The error code is 016-505: unable to log in POP3 server when transmiting e-mail

 

My POP server needs STARTTLS autentication, and the SMTP server needs encrypted password, but I can't see the way to configure that on the web-panel:

xerox 560 with integrated Fiery - scan to email problem

Hi!

I have problem with xerox 560, and setting scan to email options, first i try to set throught Command workstation but that doesn't help.

After that i open xerox web tools (on my pc it's 192.168.5.12:8080) and start editing E-mail configuration, first i get the error "016-503" - SMTP adress Fix Error, after i set my gmail acc to the config, i get the error "016-764 - SMTP server Connection Error". I try almoust everything after that last error, even try to change ports, and smtp adresses, i even  try with google public DNS, i can write 2 pages of trying and nothing help me to solve this problem.

Workflow scanning issues on 7855

We are having an issue in a customer that is prerry intermittant when using the workflow scanning option on the machine. When the custmer is scanning a document to a shared location the below error is apearing and the job is being deleted. They reboot the machine and the scan goes through, as you can imagine though this is not conveiniant for the customer to keep doing this. The firmware on the device is 072.010.134.32804.

"Could not send e-mail as the e-mail address was wrong"

 

I think everything is configured correctly: 

1- The email account I've created for the printer is active and able to send an receive emails. I've tested it on my thunderbird

2- I've configure the Machine Email Address on the web page

3- I've configured on "Protocol Settings -> e-mail" the proper details

4- I tried to send scans to accounts on the same domain and others like gmail or hotmail. Same result.

5- I've checked that printer's IP is able to send outgoing traffic to port 25 on firewall

 

This error....means the printer CAN connect to my smtp server perfectly, but the recipient mail is...wrong? how it knows it's wrong?

On a normal mail client If I send to a wrong or non-existent account, my client sends it anyways and after a while I receive a bouncing message.....

Hello, Whe have a problem with Network Scanning with Xerox Phaser 3635MFP.

I tried everything that writen on this forum, the Firmware Version: 20.105.01.010

 

The domain policy permit only NTLMv2 !

Network security: LAN Manager authentication level:  Send NTLMv2 response only

 

Every network scan we get error: 4625 (0xc000006d, Sub status: 0xc000006a)

I checked on the warranty status for my Xerox copier workecentre model 5675 , sn, : 3634220690 , on the link (www.office.xerox.com/smart/entitlements), it answered me alright but the answer page header was (Printer Entitlement) not copier, so is it possible to have the same serial no. for a Xerox copier and printer?

FreeFlow Accxes Client Tools Command Line Parameters

We have a wide format scanner that is connect to our network via a HFT controller. I have installed the FreeFlow Accxes Client Tool on one of our engineering servers as a service. My issue is how to start automatic image retreval. Is there a method to pass parameters via the command line so that when the FreeFlow Accxes Client Tool starts, automatic image retreval starts.

When scanning in JPEG format it creats a folder in destination folder and that folder contains the jpeg and 4 DAT files. Is there a way to turn this off?
